Farm Service Agency Guaranteed Loans

Guaranteed loans are available for both farm real estate and operating purposes.

Borrowers include, beginning farmers who can't qualify for conventional loans because they have insufficient financial resources as well as established farmers who are experiencing financial difficulties.

The Farm Service Agency has approved Northwestern Bank as a Certified Lender to originate loans for the FSA guaranteed loan program.

Rural Finance Authority
We are a participating lender for farm loan programs offered by the Minnesota State Department of Agriculture.

The program can assist a beginning farmer with the purchase of farmland with low interest rates and a reasonable down payment.
